Well, this was a time after a national lock down.

I was getting used to getting out of the house again, other than to be going to my new studio.

I 've had the new studio since oktober and i really realised at that specific time how much i hated to move. It's always looking forward tot something new, looking back on what has been and lots, lots of cleaning up, throwing things away and taking al kind of rubbish with you, which you should have gotten rid of a long time ago.

It was also a time in which i had to get a new passport for my kid. That happens once in five years time and i realized how fast time flies. They always say that, but seeing your children grow up makes you realize that so much more!

It is like making a painting. You start with an empty, blank canvas. You make sure you have a nice background - or just leave it like that - and you start painting. And as the painting evolves you can hardly remember the blank canvas. It just changes, alters so quickly!

And that's the same with kids or some regulations or seasons of a year.

I would advise to enjoy every moment of a period, a season or of making art. Because of several lockdowns i am now more aware of how fast time goes by. Nowadays everything goes fast and having internet and al posibilities to communicate quickly can also make a person forget to relax and take the time to enjoy a specific moment.

It can be so nice to just pause. Just for a minute. Remember moments of the time before and make the 'now' last a little longer. Make the most of the moment. Because soon it will just be a memory, a picture or a painting.
